Position: Restaurant QA Supervisor
Department: Supply Chain Management
Reporting structure: Report to Restaurant Quality Assurance Manager
Position purpose:
This job is accountable for ensuring Food Safety and high-quality agenda in McDonald’s restaurants through collaboration with Operations department and maintaining and supporting efficient food safety and quality management systems in accordance with all relevant local, corporate, and legal requirements.
Principal accountabilities:
Collaborate with Operations
department to ensure restaurants’ compliance with McDonald’s standards and
local regulation and provide support to restaurants to assure food safety
agenda in restaurants daily activity.
Cooperate with independent
auditing companies to establish and maintain verification of Food Safety system
in restaurants via independent audits, lead calibration process for auditing
companies and restaurants.
Support restaurants in
preparation for RFSMS audits and corrective actions development. Make analyses
of RFSMS audit results to identify areas for improvement and lead continuous
improvement process.
Manage quality and food
safety complaints related to restaurants and support restaurants in
identification of the root cause and development of corrective/preventive
actions to resolve the issues and prevent recurrences. Make analyses of trends.
Perform ATCQ / BTCQ program
to evaluate menu items and quality of ingredients and provide a coaching to
restaurants.
Support restaurants in
interaction and building trustworthy relationship with local authorities,
including MFDS.
Collaborate with Operations
department on implementation & roll out updated or new global McDonald’s
quality policies and procedures related to restaurants operation.
In partnership with Operations
team, ensure continuous improvement via tracking of FS & Quality KPI’s
related to restaurants, review results of ATCQ / BTCQ program and feedback from
customer to ensure the menu items and ingredients meet McDonald’s standards and
specification, identify and address the areas for improvement in timely manner.
Cooperate with Training
department to prepare and develop training programs on Food Safety.
Qualifications:
University degree in a
relevant area: Food Science, Food Technology or related field such as Chemistry,
Microbiology, etc.
Sound knowledge of Quality
and Food Safety methodologies including HACCP, GMP, Sanitation
Experience in restaurant or
franchising business, food industry of minimum 5 years
Good communication and
team-working skills. Strong in both verbal and written communication.
Good level of influencing
skills in dealing with internal and external business partners.
Analytical skills ? analyses
and interprets results and recommends changes and improvements.
Intermediate level of
English proficiency in both written and verbal.
